RETURN & REFUND POLICY
(Effective from 31 October 2025 – Turkmen Art Jewellery)
At Turkmen Art Jewellery, each piece is carefully handcrafted using genuine natural gemstones.
Due to the unique characteristics and natural variation of gemstones, every product is one-of-a-kind.
For this reason, we apply strict return and refund conditions to protect both our customers and the integrity of our products.
1. Eligibility for Returns
1.1 Consumers have the legal right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days after receiving the goods, as provided by EU and Turkish consumer protection laws.
1.2 However, because our products are made of delicate and unique natural stones, returns are accepted only under the following conditions:
The item must be unused, unworn, and undamaged.
The item must be returned in its original packaging, including any certificates, labels, or accessories.
The item must not show any signs of alteration, stretching, or exposure to moisture, perfume, or chemicals.
The return request must be submitted within 14 days after delivery by email to turkmendogaltas@gmail.com with the order number and clear photos of the product.
1.3 If the product shows any use or handling beyond what is necessary to verify its nature or quality, the Seller reserves the right to refuse the return or deduct a value reduction.
2. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances, in accordance with Article 15 of the EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Article 15 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation:
Custom-made or size-adjusted bracelets or necklaces.
Items made with rare or fragile gemstones (e.g., selenite, kunzite, malachite, larimar, calcite, etc.) once shipped.
Any item unsealed after delivery that cannot be resold for hygiene reasons.
Items altered or repaired by a third party.
3. Return Process
3.1 To start a return, please contact us at turkmendogaltas@gmail.com within 14 days after receiving your order.
Provide the order number, your name, and photos showing the condition of the product.
3.2 After your request is approved, you will receive the return shipping instructions.
3.3 The buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost and any customs fees unless the item arrived damaged or the wrong product was sent.
3.4 The Seller will not accept items returned without prior authorization.
4. Refunds
4.1 Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
4.2 Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days using the same payment method used for purchase.
4.3 If the return is rejected (for example, due to damage, use, or non-original condition), the product will be shipped back to the buyer at their expense.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Items
5.1 If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.
5.2 We will offer either a replacement (if available) or a full refund once the damaged product is returned.
6. International Orders
6.1 International shipments may be subject to customs inspections that can affect packaging; this is not considered damage.
6.2 The Seller is not responsible for delays or handling by third-party carriers or customs authorities.
7. Final Provisions
7.1 Turkmen Art Jewellery reserves the right to amend this policy in line with applicable legislation without prior notice.
7.2 All returns are governed by the Distance Sales Agreement and applicable Turkish and EU consumer protection laws.
7.3 By placing an order on our website, the customer confirms having read and agreed to this policy.
